Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBO)

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO) is a period of time in which the patient is entirely enclosed within a chamber and breathing 100% oxygen at a pressure greater than sea level (1 atmosphere absolute). Chamber pressure should be at least 1.5 atm to be considered hyperbaric.
