fourth ventricle (brain)
Glascow coma score
intracranial pressure (takes you to another sub-module on ICP monitoring)
negative inspiratory force (NIF)
positive end expiratory pressure (PEEP)
pressure control ventilation
pressure support ventilation
synchronized intermittent mandatory ventilation (SIMV)
  1. List complications associated with closed head injuries.
  2. Recognize different types of breathing patterns:
apnea
Cheyne-Stokes
Kussmaul
  1. Identify indicating factors of atelectasis through the use of chest X-rays and other means.
