Definition:
Cystic Fibrosis is an inherited disease of the exocrine glands, primarily affecting the GI and respiratory systems. The triad of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, and abnormally high sweat electrolytes usually characterizes it.
