Dräger Evita 4 OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this module the learner will:

  1. Be able to identify key components of the ventilator.
  2. Know how to enter basic ventilatory parameters into the machine.
  3. Be able to identify the different modes this machine offers.
  4. Be able to explain what AutoFlow is, and how the patient will benefit from it.
  5. Be able to explain what Airway Pressure Relief Ventilation is used for, and what patient population is most benefited from this mode.
  6. Be able to set the alarms appropriately for any given set of ventilatory parameters.
