COMPUTER SPECIFICATIONS NEEDED FOR LEARNING

This educational program is based on principles of active learning. QuickTime movies and Flash files are used to animate certain educational features to optimize your learning experience. If you don’t have these add-ons, don’t worry. Either ‘plug-in’ is as simple as a free download. Download these programs now by double-clicking on the following two links:

Good job! Now, as you go through the program, watch for certain features. Video clips are indicated by a camera icon. Double-click on it and you will watch a vignette or demonstration. This is what the camera icon looks like:

You have already seen text that is the color blue. When you double-click on blue text it takes you to information to expand your learning, or provide answers to higher level questions that you might have. For instance, you might find a link to vision definitions, or additional websites, or to graphics/models. As you study, take your time and explore these links!

Finally, notice that at the end of each lesson that there is a blue link that says, GO BACK! This brings you back to the home page so that another lesson can be selected. If you are ready, do that now!
