Bone & Joint Structure: Carpals

The triquetrum has a convex articular surface proximally. It articualtes with the articular disc and ulnar collateral ligament. The distal surface of the triquetrum is concave for articulation with the hamate. The triquetrum bears an oval isolated facet on its distal palmar surface for articulation with the pisiform.
