Origin: Common flexor tendon from medial epicondyle of humerus and deep antebrachial fascia

Insertion: Base of second metacarpal bone and a slip to base of third metacarpal bone

Innervation: Median, C6, 7, 8

Action: Flexes and abducts (radially deviates the wrist, may assist in pronation of the forearm and flexion of the wrist
