Origin of Humeral Head: Common flexor tendon from medial epicondyle of humerus, ulnar collateral ligament of elbow joints, and deep antebrachial fascia

Origin of Ulnar Head: Medial side of coronoid process

Origin of Radial Head: Oblique line of radius

Insertion: By four tendons into sides of middle phalanges of second through fifth digits

Nerve: Median, C7, 8, T1

Action: Flexes PIP joints of 2-5 digits, assists in flexion of the MCP joints and in wrist flexion
