Return to the Sensory Profile Summary
Low Registration - Probable Difference - Less than others
What the score means: This score in Low Registration means that the child notices more (i.e., misses less) stimuli than others. When a child gets this score, it means the child ‘never’ misses stimuli in the environment during everyday life.
Since all the cut scores on the Sensory Profile
are based on the normal bell curve, a ‘probable difference’ score
means that the child responds less than about 84% of peers, about the same
as 14% of peers and more than 2% of peers. Go to the Bell
Curve illustration to see how this works.
