  1. Introduction

    Medication review and evaluation of patients' understanding of their medication regimens is central to good care of older adults.  Aging-related differences in pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics are reviewed in this module, as are issues related to drug interactions, adherence, polypharmacy, and adverse drug reactions in older adults.
