Case 6 - Albinism
Family history:
The Clark's, an African -American couple, have four sons. Two
of these sons have albinism. These sons are the only affected
individuals in the entire extended family. Even though they
have received genetic counseling in the past they desire another
consultation. They want to clarify what the chance is for a future
child to have albinism. They also want to know what the chance
is that a future pregnancy would be a female.
