Learning Quizzes
Taking tests gets you in the habit of posing questions about research which you will need to ask yourself whenever you utilize research to guide your practice. The quizzes in 460 are automatically graded, so you will know your percent correct afterwards. Diagrams are used to guide choices about research design, statistics, etc.
The Quizzes and Final Examinations will be short but will require you to read research abstracts or data and determine if you would put that data into practice. For example, after a data set or abstract, you might be asked questions about assessment of patients "is there enough evidence base (data) to indicate this patient’s problem can be minimized by using nursing intervention A, B, or C?"
