Discussion questions might revolve around, "What is the feasibility of actually studying this problem or developing a research plan?" That might involve identifying population availability or sampling frames, or it might involve discussing sample size. Learning activities related to this area would be to write specific research objectives, questions, and hypotheses, and distinguish those from the purpose of research. Learning activities would be to use models and concepts that might help you identify how to determine the sampling frame and sample size. The discussion questions and learning activities of module 2 would begin you on your literature review related to this area of research that you are interested in for your assignments. Learning activities for the literature search might be to actually use MEDLINE, CINAHL, or some of the other databases available.
