Module 3
Learning
activities and discussion revolve around research designs and being able
to critique these. Discussion questions would be to give a list of
criteria for a good correlational study, and a list of criteria for good
experimental research design. There would also be learning activities
using decision making maps to help you identify how the design is selected
and directed based on the problem of the research being studied. Also,
there would be readings that you would be quoting, that identify the best
types of measurements, and that would include observations, physiologic
data, interviews and questionnaires appropriate to the research design.
Looking at cultural sensitivity and describing culturally sound research
is another learning activity that would generate several discussion
questions.
