Dear Student: The University of Kansas School of Nursing is interested in understanding student's experience in taking web-based courses such as the one(s) in which you are currently enrolled. The findings will be used to improve the web-based courses when necessary. This survey is a part of a Benchmarking Project being conducted by LearningCurves Inc. Participating institutions include Indiana University and the University of Colorado among others. The aggregate results will be used to obtain a national view of web-based course development and implementation in terms of best practices in online learning environments. Your complete anonymity is assured; all data are submitted electronically to a file server at Washington State University where all identifying information is removed. Data will only be reported in the aggregate. The survey is conducted "on-line" and should take no more than 15 minutes to complete. The survey will remain active until December 20. Click here to take the survey:

Thank you for your participation in the survey. If you need additional information you may contact Helen Connors at Hconnors@kumc.edu If you are taking more than one on-line course you will need to do a separate survey for each course. Also, you may have completed a survey during the previous semesters; however, we need you to do one for each on-line course you take. If for some reason you are not able to click on the url and go directly to the survey, try copying and pasting the url or typing it in to the "location". These surveys are not used as course evaluations. You will receive a separate email and URL for the course evaluation. However, this information is important to our evaluation process. We value your input in this important benchmarking project.

Thanks Again,
