Individual activities are designed to guide and supplement your assigned readings. 1) For each unit there are study questions which you should refer to prior to your readings. You may or may not elect to write out answers to the questions. These do not need to be handed in and will not be graded. These questions can form the basis of threaded discussions. E-mail me with items or terminology of question or difficulty. 2) Each unit also suggests terminology that is important to have clear understanding of. In Unit One I have provided definitions for many of the terms. As you progress through the other units refer to the list of terms and make sure you understand their meanings. 3) Finally there are other learning activities listed under "Individual Activities". For some of these I do ask you send, by e-mail, your thoughts and responses as directed. In terms of the evaluation and assignment of points: you lose points if required submissions are not received by the due date or the submission is not of graduate student quality. That is, I expect thoughtful, complete, and well organized responses to the questions or other requirement. Points will be deducted for unexcused late work.
Grading Criteria
Zero credit - assignment not turned in on time.
Reduced credit - omitted item, response lacked depth.
