A 52 year old G 4 P 4, vaginal deliveries, menopausal since age 50, taking no hormone therapy, no Pap smear for 5 hears but previous Pap smears were normal, complains of "terrible constapation" that has been getting worse in the last few years and loss of urine when she sneezes or coughs.  She now wears a small pad when she goes out because she fears that she will "wet herself".  This problem has also been getting worse in the last few years.  She does smoke 1 pack of cigarettes /day and has smoked since she was a teenager.  She also has allergies to ragweed in the fall and "sneezes her head off".  She takes no medication except an herbal laxative for constapation.
