A 46 year old woman has a chief complaint of heavy, menstrual periods for the last 9 months. She is tired of bleeding through super tampons and pads. Her periods are long and irregular and infrequent, sometimes she just skips a period. She also is beginning to feel tired all the time.
Habits: Tobacco. Not a smoker. Alcohol. Occasional glass of wine. Street Drugs: Denies
Major medical problems: None
Medications: Herbal laxative occassionally. Ibuprofin prn musculoskeletal aches.
GYN History: G. 2 P 2 LC 2. Vaginal deliveries. No history of STD's or abnormal Pap smears. Last Pap was about a year ago.
