Announcements

August 17, 2006 - Welcome to NURS 430/OCTH 776: Population Based Health Care!  Today is first day of a great semester of learning about serving populations with health and health care needs within a variety of context and systems.  Population based health care provides a point of entry for assessment and intervention that is quite different than the individually targeted health system.  As you work through the six course modules, you will become aware of the layers of challenges and opportunities that are available when working with groups of people with population specific issues and needs.  Jackie Nowak and I look forward to working with you to realize the contributions to be made by nurses and occupational therapists when working in the arena of population based health care.
