Economic Scale

Objectives:

  1. Describe major social, economic, political forces influencing change in the US health care system.
  2. Compare and contrast the private and public health care systems.
  3. Compare and contrast the Medicare and Medicaid programs and their affect on vulnerable populations.
  4. Identify cultural factors influencing health and their implications for populations.
  5. Discuss environmental health concerns and their implications for populations.
