What's New

Blackboard Begins - Summer 2013
Starting May 28th, Blackboard will go LIVE. When faculty, staff, and students return from Memorial Day, they will be interacting in the online learning management system known as Blackboard. As for ANGEL, faculty will still have access until June 14th, but only through a direct weblink. All ANGEL links throughout the KUMC website will be updated or will redirect everyone to Blackboard. - Learn more

New to TLT - Julie Zimmerman
Julie Zimmerman comes to us from Lakeview Middle School in Parkville, MO, where her duties ranged from training 7th and 8th students and teachers on using Google Documents and Blackboard, to creating book displays and a website for the Library Media Center. - Learn more

New to TLT - Shane Minsey
In October TLT-Media gained a new Classroom Support Specialist- Shane Minsey.   Shane is a recent graduate of The Arts Institutes International- Kansas City with a degree in Digital Film making & Video Production. - Learn more

New Online Room Request Form
With the integration of Instructional Services (IS) into Teaching & Learning Technologies (TLT), we have integrated the IS website into the TLT website. As part of this project, we increased your ability to request classrooms online. - Learn more

Classroom Updates
We are steadily embracing and facilitating the paradigm shift toward the flexible classroom model.  We started by adding casters to the 4th floor Orr-Major labs tables. - Learn more.

Near the end of each semester, we select two faculty who are doing exemplary things with technology in their courses. A broadcast will be sent out later in the semester.
